Re: HCC Final tickets offered
Hi, I have two spares in the Ganay stand, near the front and the half way line. Guaranteed to test out your ability to catch a touch finder. Great for an upgrade if you're already going and don't want to sit up in the gods. DM me if you're interested.

Date and Time of London Irish match
The London Irish website is showing their match against us as being on Saturday the 23rd at 3pm. It's on their buy tickets link rather than their fixtures link. http://www.londonirish.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/productHome.aspx There are also still some tickets available via their ...

Re: RDS MC
My own favourite was when Teee - taa - foo - Poh - low - taa - Naa - ooo came on as a sub for the Australia match. It doesn't seem too much to ask that he reads the names of the players out loud at least once before the match starts. It was like listening to a four year old learning to read.

Wilkinson was top tackler yesterday with 15 tackles. Hard to think of many 10s that would do that in a game.ronk wrote: Wilkinson was very good.

For me: 1. Healy 2. Flannery 3. Hayes 4. Cullen 5. POC 6. Ferris 7. Wallace 8. Heaslip 9. TOL 10. Sexton (ROG showed signs of life against Ulster but you can't go into a test match with someone kicking as poorly as he is, unforgivable) 11. Fitz 12. Wallace 13. BOD 14. Bowe 15. Kearney Would go alon...

Re: Scandalous?
This is all a bit over the top. I don't see why it's such a bad idea to start with Hayes especially if the rest of the front row is Cronin and Healy. It's presumably not as if he's been spending the last few weeks kicking back catching up on his DVD box sets. His line out work alone justifies his st...

Re: Ireland Squad for AIs Announced
Can't believe that Casey isn't in the squad. With Nick Kennedy being omitted from the England squad too you'd have to wonder if somebody at London Irish is doing something very wrong in dealing with the RFU and IRFU.

Re: Brian Moore: did Leinster cheat to win the Heineken Cup?
Didn't Keith Wood have a go at Moore once on TV for being biased. Mind you, it's not always bad. Moore gave the Man of the Match award to Andy Goode in Twickenham 4 years ago and it was announced just before O'Gara chipped ahead and Shaggy scored in the corner. I was at a corporate gig there that da...

Re: Ospreys v Leinster Match Thread - No Ulster updates!!!
Great to get the win considering how many mistakes were made and how toothless the attack was. When I saw that Berne wasn't taking place kicks in the early games i thought that he might be another Christian Warner. Seeing him kick away so many balls last night has made me wish he was a bit. Still, w...

Re: Darcy's fart
Can't find it on Youtube, but you can see O'Connell trying not to laugh here - http://www.irishrugby.ie/irfu_tv.php?medid=3359 He also tries to hold Drico's hand at the very start, pretty funny. You can also see ROG-J's shorts on backwards. Very funny. What was he thinking holding Briano's hand? Am...

Re: UK TV Coverage of Leinster Magners League Games
Is everyone sure that there aren't some UK pubs which have Setanta Ireland and can show ML matches? Most pertinently the upcoming Munster game. A relatively local pub to me shows GAA and soccer on RTE so I wonder if they're permitted to show Setanta Ireland. I think a phone call may be in order. If...

Re: UK TV Coverage of Leinster Magners League Games
It's worth looking in a few Irish pubs to see if they have managed to fix Senanta Ireland for themselves. I know of one such pub (which shall remain nameless) who show RTE and Setanta Ireland. On this topic, sort of, does anybody know if Setanta are showing Saturday's match? It's not on their listin...

Very apt typo in the link on the ERC website
Please scowl down to the list of PDF judgments to where the top document entitled “Independent Appeal Decisions on ERC Appeals re Harlequins and Officials” and dated 17 August (date of hearing) can be read.

I think you can buy some on Bob Dwyer rugby (http://www.bobdwyerrugby.com). There was a 20% off offer on some of the packss advertised on Ruggamatrix if you enter Ruggamatrix at the checkout. Might have expired by now though.

Re: Ireland captain for this season
I just can't believe that there has been _any_ discussion of DOC as a captain. I'm sure he offers a lot as a leader but if you believe either his defenders who say that he spends most of his time doing the hard work at the bottom of rucks etc or his detractors who say he does nothing then he just sh...

So, England have won the toss and are going to bat first :D They'll get some play in (and hopefully not lose any wickets) before the rain comes. I just hope it lasts 'til Monday, when I'll be there :D (otherwise it's lunch out & a refund :( ) It's starting to feel like, rain or no rain, you'll ...

Ireland captain for this season
From today's Irish Times: Ireland coach Declan Kidney said yesterday he will delay naming the Irish captain until close to the November international series. “The way we handled it (last season) worked well for us giving Brian (O’Driscoll) the space to concentrate on his game not other matters,” sai...
