Plenty of time for a heroic, nay legendary, comeback.

Re: Ulster 2023/24

Think he just about got the Carre knock on right but poor that he refused to look at Cooney's knock on just before the Ulster try. He couldn't. You can't go back more than two phases unless it's foul play. A knock-on isn't foul play so it wasn't reviewable. A 'purpose' knock-on is Foul Play. Yep, b...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

Prize money goes to whoever the stakeholder is and it's their job to distribute it - so in our case the IRFU, for English clubs it's the RFU/PRL, etc. The real value isn't the prize money, it's in selling the win. Sponsorship bonuses, increased sponsorship value and opportunities, increased ticket s...

Re: Ulster 2023/24

Big big win for Ulster. Dreadful first half, the second half improved a bit - not massively - but a bit. The younger lads were Ulster's best , McCann and Sheridan were excellent and Izuchukwu may have won the game for Ulster with a brilliant try saving tackle. Stockdale needs to get out of Ulster, h...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

Hmmm If I (20 something years sth) want to sit beside my wife (not sure but certainly 15 yrs+ STH) at a match next season, according to my reading of the FAQs, then one of us has to drop our individual season ticket, buy two on the same account, and when the RDS re-opens, then that person "woul...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

You can paint that a lot of different ways, I think people are looking at that picture totally wrong. You’re looking at a player leaving New Zealand and not going to Japan and not going to France [for more money] but coming to Ireland. Obviously, he’s got some roots there [in Meath], but it’s a mov...

We all know that all those top players are here for good vibes vouchers and a basket of chicken and chips I don't know why some people have their head in the sand over this. The alternative is we aren't looking after the players and underpaying, that's worse in my view. We have an odd attitude to m...

Big Spenders???[emoji2955] I really like Jim Hamilton, but he’s infected with this virus that need us as being super-resourced vis-a-vis their bloody Premiership! We are big spenders - there's no need to be embarrassed about it. Irish provinces have large budgets - in comparison to the Premiership ...
