All that stuff disappeared around the same time Denis Leamy did.

It feels like Mick Dawson has been around for longer.......
"Admittedly, the impending departure of Mick Dawson in November after 21 months as CEO, and this being Johnny Sexton’s last season, adds to the upheaval. But one constant has been Leo Cullen, and while he is again on a one-year rolling contract, the likelihood is that he will remain a steady hand on the tiller."

Jaysus, could you imagine how we'd feel now if he'd gone to Munster?wixfjord wrote: ↑September 30th, 2022, 3:29 pm Good piece on Dan Sheehan

They wouldn't have selected him so we wouldn't have known what we had missed.LeinsterLeader wrote: ↑October 1st, 2022, 11:01 amJaysus, could you imagine how we'd feel now if he'd gone to Munster?wixfjord wrote: ↑September 30th, 2022, 3:29 pm Good piece on Dan Sheehan

For a Leinster player going to Munster is like going to Limbo, a lot of waiting around seems the be only activity available.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Against The Head as ridiculous as ever leading with match in Thomond and concentrating on the performance of the losers and paying lip service to analysing Ulster. Both Cave and Coughlan are good if a little dull but the less said about the presenter the better. He went on about Crowley's conversion hitting the post and how that changed the narrative, ignoring the 3 missed Ulster conversions and the fact that they turned down at least 2 kickable penalties in pursuit of a tbp. We were then treated to a look at Munster's fixture list.
A cursory look at Connacht's win followed.
No analysis of the Leinster performance although the Welsh commentators sounded quite good.
It is such a poorly made programme. There should be focus on performances of new players like McKee, Moore or Odogbu or peripheral Ireland squad players like Blade, Carty or Ruddock. Some ref analysis wouldn't go amiss or a look at how the Munster and Leinster signings at centre have performed. Skin deep platitudes are instead the order of the day. Lazy outdated television without a semblance of either innovation or controversy. Serves me right for watching it.

Ruddock had his own little love in btw, you must have missed that.

I'd like to blame predictive text but I can't. It's late and I'm old is the best I can do
Re: A whiff of Cordite
The Ruddock reference was a platitude. Some match footage showing his excellence should have been shown
Re: A whiff of Cordite
Should that have included the 4 penalties he was pinged for?

Gerry's not having the back to back NZ wins in 2011 & 2015.....
"But there’s no doubt Erasmus has been a brilliant leader of the Springboks, and they arrive seeking to become the first back-to-back winners of the William Webb Ellis trophy.'
