There are 2/3 positions where Leinster have struggled at times with inexperienced players: scrumhalf, lock and fullback. You could probably add outside centre too because we were spoilt for so long with BOD and Ringrose. Hard boots to fill. We've been lucky too at hooker.

If we have experience there we can manage anywhere.

Rugby Pass have been making a list of the best players in the world. While it's all very subjective nonsense, it has been interesting to see how Leinster players are perceived. Here's the list of Irish players that made the cut:

97. Josh van der Flier
91. James Ryan
83. Hugo Keenan
82. Ian Henderson
73. Bundee Aki
56. Gary Ringrose
55. Robbie Henshaw
51. Andrew Porter
50. James Lowe
49. Tadhg Beirne
36. JGP
35. Doris
26. Conan
19. Ronan Kelleher
14. Johnny Sexton
4. Furlong

Interesting to see Kelleher and Conan so high on the list.

Henshaw should be way higher than that.

And, with all due respect, JGP has no business being that high

Frustrating that tadhg beirne is one of the best rugby players in the Country at the moment but simultaneously is not even the best rugby player called tadhg in the country.

Delighted to hear that. I always thought Dan would back himself at Leinster.

Munster were “granted an audience with Sheehan but it went no further than that” according to O’Reilly.

That’s great news.

I do love the imagery of JVG or whoever being 'granted an audience' with Sheehan, making his pitch and then being sent away with a dismissive wave.

That's a bummer, but I'm not exactly surprised. He seemed out of favour for a while.

Great move for him. We have to go to the market and sign a second row, will we be allowed a NIQ one?

Piece says Dunne is 'talking' to Exeter, so may not be a done deal yet.

Would be a smart move from Rob Baxter though. Dunne would count as an 'English' player on the books too according to that piece as he was born in London seemingly?
