HT in Lens. Racing lead LAR 10-8.

Nothing like the pace of the game yesterday, but a lot of slugging it out.

But you can clearly see our style of play would have more difficulty against LR than racing. Think racing would be the better opponents to us in the final

I desperately want RM to win this as I think we could really struggle against the power of LAR especially in the scrum if Tadhg is missing. RM are a very talented bunch but I think they are collectively flaky and I think they would suit our approach much better than LAR.

If Racing win from here, LAR are not going to be happy with out-half West, who has missed 2 kicks already.

Even without the BIG ONE, their scrum is still awesome. However, they're playing the same route 1 stuff with which they beat us last year, despite displaying some nice handiwork in the initial 10 minutes.

Racing need more ball, otherwise its the grinder for them

BTW, three warnings to Racing for 5 successive penalties within 5 mtrs, but no card. Consistency anyone?

Would definitely rather racing instead of lar. Lar would turn it into a slugfest which we don't want. Racing allow an open game. Lar would do everything to slow it down and make it stop start. But from a revenge point of view it would be extremely satisfying to beat lar to get last year out of our system.

+1. The LAR scrum would cause us difficulties.....

Another one early in the second half and the ref has forgotten about his warnings.

He's always been a dodgy kicker to be honest. They lost the final last year because of him. You'd think with their budget they could get a half-decent goalkicker!

La Rochelle are a bit of a shambles. They are by far the inferior team today. Racing should by rights be winning and maybe still will, despite being 13.

That's been the best 5 mins from the R92 pack to give the wunderkind Nolann a shot to nothing to grab the lead.

He missed but now to get another chance with a great turnover and Le Garrac goes again......but misses.

Not sure which is the better matchup for Leinster, watching this today. Before i would have said Racing, but I'm not so sure now.

Neither of these sides on this form look any great shakes.

Lots of talent and size but lacking structure.
