Salary Caps

- The Piece claims Leinsters salary cap is 185m Rand ( €10.5 million )
- All SA franchises have a salary cap of 60m Rand ( €3.4m ). ( https://www.sarugbymag.co.za/sa-rugbys- ... s-figures/ )
- Top 14 Clubs have a salary cap this year of €11.3 million ( https://actu.fr/sports/rugby/pro/condit ... 64342.html )
- Premiership have a salary cap of €5 million ( + 2 player outside of SC ).

I wonder if White is quoting the Leinster operating cost or our salary cap considering a good chunk of those players will be on National contracts.

It's hard to compare, partly deliberately because of the role in international players and the different ways salary caps are calculated.

Cost of living is obviously relevant too. e.g. a Sharks season ticket behind the goals is about €60.
