Yeah it went south fairly quickly for them alright! Wasn't their first team though, am I right in saying that?

Not so fun fact: Toulouse beat Cardiff in Cardiff today by a bigger points difference than Leinster beat Bath in Dublin: 7-39 = 32, while 45-20 = 25.

Cardiff don't have the depth to field a second string team that would be competitive in the AIL, and this was a third string team. 32 players were unavailable after a South African debacle worse than Munster's lot.

Felt like the game was over by the second try in the 12th minute, BP secured with the fourth try in the 24th minute. Bench brought on nice and early, no injuries as far as I know. Not much of a game, no atmosphere to build off from the crowd (how dare I). Bigger fish to fry.

Yep - like watching an Irish QF supporting the other team! Game over by the end of the first quarter.

The second half in general was underwhelming and I definitely came out of Lansdowne Road thinking that it was an overall poor performance. But for the first 30 minutes we were on a point a minute trip and looked pretty good.

Have to agree I thought he was pretty good too. It was all to easy but he was able to pull Bath apart a few times and kicked ok.

It looked to me (from a long way off) that Ciaran Frawley had a very good 20 minutes at out half and introduced a running threat from that position that Ross doesn't have. I look forward to the analysis of his performance on the various podcasts this week.

We lost the last 20 mins 7-0, what was Frawley doing that was so good in those 20mins? I’m not blaming him either for those 20 mins the match was well and truly over and minds were very much elsewhere from those on the pitch to those in the stands.

Yes, I think so. Frawley did 2 very good dummies and showed what a running threat he is. But Byrne had a good game too and was part of some really effective attacking play, it looked easy though.

Both are good players.
