Limited 5,000 capacity

Post by cormac »

Don't suppose anyone has heard anything about how Leinster are going to issue tickets for the two home games in January that will be subject to the limited capacity of 5,000?

A ballot amongst season ticket holders would probably seem the fairest solution.

It should be based on Flag Size.*

Then Age of your Jersey.

It should also have a special catagory for people with the original Bank of Scotland Jester hats or the very short lived Leinster Lunatics t-shirt.

Your welcome Leinster Rugby, jobs a good one.

They've had almost 2 years to plan for the day so I hope they're ready.

A draw seems fair. An explicit way to opt out would also be useful for people who don't want to take the risk but want to make it easier for other fans.

A lot of musicians and theatres are doing a matinee show and an evening show on the same day so nobody misses out. Maybe we could play each match twice?

Is there anything to be said for a Thunderdome like scenario?

I appreciate the tongue in cheek comment but it got me thinking.

Play an 'A' game before hand. Gives people the option of getting to see a match - admittedly not the one they want but still beggers can't be choosers.

It would definitely work for games on this island not sure about traveling clubs.

In saying that if you have chartered a plane you may as well fill it.

Ah if only they were not playing Toulouse on the 8th.

I'll be happy if we get to play it at all. When is this appeal?
