Piss poor penalty to give away there. Pity because his turnover was a peach

Very impressed with Frawley’s work rate in defence, pity nobody else is on his wavelength. Far too many players being eager to rush up and then letting the ball carrier waltz past.

Osborne very lively in defence too. They seem to be targeting him but he hasn't missed one yet.

Connors gone off, hope it's nothing serious.

If last weekend was champagne rugby, this is more 6 pack of Dutch Gold.

Couple of good examples there of why I think Rhys is fading. There in plenty of time to make the clearout but didn’t have the power and then got stuffed when previously I reckon he’d have stayed up and ridden the tackle.

How many times have we gotten into their 22 only to knock it on or get turned over? Can think of five times myself. Exceptionally poor conversion rate for us.

Rhys' form has dropped off a lot. Hopefully it's just a temporary dip, but he doesn't look as impactful as he was.

There's gonna be a lot of rust for most of them out there to knock off. Let's give them a chance

Any chance of Ross receiving it flatter? He is much too deep

McGrath & Byrne look like they're playing at half speed at times. Mix of poor passing and standing too deep with no pace (as usual for both).

We're having big problems with their maul and kicking game.

Ross for Dev would be a good option.

Hanging in there.....think Ross on ASAP.

Perfect time to give Harry a run too

Interested to see what we do with Harry Byrne now. A game as messy as this could be a disaster for him if he’s not conservative enough, but if he does manage to play well then it could be a big moment for him. Curious to see when the coaches introduce him.

Mind you if we get another 4/5 visits to their 22 in the 2nd half and convert a couple that will see us home but we have to stop f**King up...very sloppy first half.

And weirdly deep in defence! Not sure why we’re hiding him at the back with JOB pushing up instead at times. Odd setup.

I really like the way McCarthy comes onto the ball. He’s made some errors but I think he’s had a strong half overall.

Leinster don't have any 'rights' to play beautiful rugby, we have to earn it. We can't have 6 carriers & 6 cleaners. We need more cleaners and then Ross taking it flatter. Ironically his own carrying has been decent but we must take out their No 7 who's been a menace.

Yeah moving Byrne away from the action in defence is weird. Defence is one of his major strengths.

Shambolic scrum there. Deegan seemed to have nodded off
