No Alan Spicer or Tom Stewart, shame.
Tom Stewart was to have surgery on the ankle he injured in the semi final.
And Alan Spicer is out injured.
Any idea on the injury?

Game Friday over in London. Ed Byrne, Will Connors and Max O’Reilly who’ll be playing at 13 all involved. Arundell due to be playing for London Irish.

Ugh that sucks. Hopefully it's not his ACL.

Is the Gonzaga out half in the Leinster/Irish underage system? Haven’t noticed his name but he was outstanding in the final, looked a real talent

I listened to one of the off the ball podcasts where they were talking about the under 20s back to back grand slams, and Jackman and Kinsella were both saying that apparently next year's team is even better than the last two. Anyone have an idea why they think that? Who are the big prospects?

Yeah I heard that too and then saw the result of the U19s a day later going down to the Japanese. Probably nothing to do with that

Is available to watch/stream? Do we have the full line up?

It's not the strongest year for Leinster, my way to early guess at next season 20s side:

1. Jacob Boyd(Ulster)
2. Danny Sheahan(Munster)
3. Andrew Sparrow(Leinster)
4. Evan O'Connell(Munster)
5. Joe Hopes(Ulster)
6. James McKillop(Ulster)
7. Jacob Sheahan(Munster)
8. Brian Gleeson(Munster)
9. Oliver Coffey(Leinster)
10. Jack Murphy(Leinster)
11. Hugh Gavin(Connacht)
12. Sam Berman(Leinster)
13. Luke Kritzinger(Leinster)
14. Hugo McLaughlin(Leinster)
15. Ben O'Connor(Munster)

I watched both U.19 games v Japan. Not unexpectedly, it was a case of a very tightly coached touring team up against two, relatively, scratch teams as Irish Squad had been assembled hurriedly because of Cup campaigns & other pressures.

Lots of talent among the Irish players but quite a disparity between some within the Squads. Relative to the cohesion and skills evident in (Leinster) schools Cup teams, neither Irish team displayed much tactical cohesion.

Coaching time makes all the difference and presumably they'll have time together before they face the French..

The Irish Rugby match report is only crediting him with 2 tries in the game: https://www.irishrugby.ie/2023/04/01/en ... -round-up/

Is it a bit surprising he wasn't with the Leinster A side in London on Friday? Presumably Milne and Hanan were the two LHPs who travelled?

I watched the game, he scored all 3 tries.

Ed Byrne travelled, Milne was with senior squad.
