He played McCarthy’s jersey first there.

Good win. Far from perfect but you’d take it.

Well we made that hard for ourselves in the end, harder than it had to be, but an interpro win on the road is something to be very pleased with

Great win.

First 40 was brilliant.

Last 30 was pretty scattered.

Hard to believe how important Jenkins seems to us now after 2.5 games.

Those are the headlines alright. Really impressive first fifty and then when Jenkins went off we looked an awful lot more vulnerable defending a mauled lineout. JR had a horror when he came on, got to the final whistle but never got to the pace of the game!

What a sharp bit of defense from Charlie Ngatai that was ... veteran play.

Some really horrific conditions for a game of rugby but we played them brilliantly in the first half. It was exceptional wet-weather rugby. Thought that Ryan Baird went very well at No6; the try was an afterthought, it was more his lineout play and tackling that stood out for me. Jenkins was excellent again and makes us have a big pack. Peter Porter also had a blazing first half, he was a gainline machine.

Eddie bigged up Ulster before the game now struggling because he wants to say Leinster were shite and Ulster were still brilliant. He went on a bit of a rant before the game against consecutive national coaches not giving McCloskey a fair crack (for some reason), his Irish 15 didn’t change for years. Some man.

Absolutely perfect. Winning an away interpro while not being great, especially 2nd half. Perfect scenario. Only the 3rd game of the season, we will get better.
Dont Panic!

Yep really heartening performance from Baird. A tough slog of a game and he looked like a real blindside.

Thought Larmour was good as well after some early ropey moments.

Commentators want Leinster near to full strength. When we're near full strength we look competent, regardless of the weather. Harsh refereeing of the maul & scrum in last 15 mins.

Terrible conditions but lots of decent rugby and an important win for Leinster.

Big win. No doubt about that.
Brilliant moment from Charlie Ngatai. Jenkins looks like a bit of a steal already.
The conditions were very challenging though. Fair play to Ulster for making a game of it.

I think our use of the bench has been the difference.

Porteer 64
Sheehan 80
Baird 66
Mike 71

It showed in how they the 2 props were playing too.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

Thought Vakh had some nice moments in last few minutes. Three big scrums and good body position for the defensive maul.

There was no need for us to play as much as we did “between the 10’s” as we did in the last 20. Just needed to pin them back in their 22. Make them play.

Important win and some key learnings.....

Jenkins is adding huge bulk to our scrum and looks like a good bit of business, Larmour very exciting and looks in great form, Henrose still the best 12 and 13 in Ireland no doubt. Sheehan is exceptional and improving all the time and VDF continues apace.

Ryan looked rusty and McGrath frustrating....

This new fella Sexton at 10 I don't think is gonna make it.

Really looks like a great signing (though early in the season)
I'm really..........really.........really hoping he brings out his best game for the Munster game in Lansdowne Road. That'd really kill them! 😂😂😂
I'd feckin love that, I'd really feckin love that!
