Lions tour to SA 2021

Post by Oldschool »

Here you go "Pilot".
Just name the England 23 and add in a couple or three from each of the Celtic nations, just for appearances.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

As I say every 4 years, I’ll watch every minute of it but the fewer Irish lads donating their bodies to this the better!

Scrap the whole bloody thing.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Possible squad of 40. Heavy on the English but we can't really complain:

LP: M.Vunipola, Marler, Genge
HK: George, Owens (?), Cowan-Dickie
TP: Sinckler, Furlong, Porter

LK: Itoje, Ja.Ryan, Lawes, Kruis, Henderson

BFL: T.Curry, Beirne
OFL: Underhill, Leavy, Tipuric
No.8: B.Vunipola, Faletau, Conan

SH (one of the most open positions IMO): Webb, B.Youngs, G.Davies
OH: O.Farrell, Patchell, Carbery
12+13: M.Tuilagi, Joseph, Ringrose, Watkin
11+14: May, Cokanasiga, North, Adams, Stockdale
15: Hogg, Larmour, Watson
"This is breathless stuff.....it's on again. Contepomi out to Hickie,D'Arcy,Hickie.......................HICKIE FOR THE CORNER! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Lions team for 2021 based on current form
1. Mako Vunipola
2. Jamie George
3. Tadgh Furlong
4. Alun wyn Jones
5. Maro Itoje
6. Tom Curry
7. San Underhill
8. Billy Vunipola
9. Gareth Davies
10. Owen Farrell
11. Jacob Stockdale
12. Hadleigh Parks
13. Manu Tuilagi
14. Josh Adams
15. Liam Williams

It kills me that there are so few Irish but a good few will be sub like James Ryan etc

To be fair, at the moment it’s hard to put a good few Irish in the team after that World Cup but hopefully the boys improve

How come you're not naming the full Irish U20s team

According to you we have the world's best and shouldn't even consider outside players

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Or maybe you're just an ignorant c**t about whose opinion nobody cares

I’m saying based on form at the moment, I do think some u20s have the potential to become a lion for 2021, but I’m talking as if we are going to pick the team now, a player can make his debut for Leinster/Ireland next season and might hop on the plane so anything can happen. I’ve decided I’m not going to hype up the players anymore because you guys get really annoyed when I talk about young players coming through so I’ve decided to keep my personal opinions to myself now

I do personally think Leinster have the best academy in the world and some outrageous talent coming through and I don’t think we need to rely on foreign players in my opinion because I’ve been watching the underage game for a while now and it’s frightening the amount of talent coming through the sub academy/ academy and there’s some players who haven’t left school yet who I think could potentially become a British and Irish Lion, that’s my personal opinion so I’m probably not gonna talk about underage players coming through anymore because you guys get really annoyed

Another reason to bin Irish players from Lions. Ad for something on Sky and AWJ introduced as captain of the British Lions!
