Watching Saints "beat up" the Leicester Tigers pack and ultimately defeat them in Welford Road 18-23, Ulster can go there next weekend with some confidence. The Ulster pack did an excellent job against both Saints and a youthful Harlequins XV in successive rounds. So long as the Ulster pack work hard in scrum and maul, their backs have the quality to give them the edge over Tigers.

But they must focus and play to their strengths. If they are as sloppy as they were in two 20 minute periods against Connacht, Tigers could maul them.

Nadolo will be the danger man, he maybe carrying weight but he is a real problem with ball in hand

I was very disappointed with youngs and ford on the weekend, ford is just not playing well any time I watch him lately

I'm identifying as an Ulsterman tonight between 8-10pm.
I'm going march to my telly via my neighbours backyard.
SUFTUM!!!
Seriously though, I hope they bate the bejesus out of Leicester.
COME ON ULSTER!

Pity it was disallowed because of an earlier knock on, but Stockdale's pass for the would be Balacoune try was nice.
It's a pity that he's so bad at some of the important full back duties as he's an excellent runner and a lovely passer too.

They were all deeply cynical infringements on the line. Stuff like slapping the ball away. I really think they should have had a second yellow.

Hell of a battle between Moore and Genge here. Genge really going for the hit and has him under pressure. But Moore doing a serious job under the pressure.

Austin is such a pain. "In rugby league that's a penalty to Leicester". Well we're not watching rugby league.
In Gaelic football that's a red card for an 'attempted strike' from the Leicester player. Doesn't matter, different sport

Stockdale looking good under the high ball (he will probably drop the next one now  ).

I think Timoney is a really good player, loads of gas, good ball player and not lacking in the nitty gritty stuff.

Good first half for Ulster. Leicester are not done yet though.

He’s been impressing me this last month or two I gotta say. Marty Moore has his hands full but doing rightly.

Dan needs to sort out how Leicester are "splitting" their line-out maul. Apart from that Ulster have done 'rightly and Robbo would love to be covering this. SUFTUM

Yeah it's a nice ding ding but Genge has shown great awareness and skills in open play.

I was up for Ulster anyway, but my resolve is strengthened by never wanding to hear Naandolo again. It's scraping a blackboard in my soul every time.
