Israel Folau's fundraising page raises just under $500,000 in just 15 hours.
The Jesus freaks putting their money down.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Guess Who.

Obviously he didn't pay attention to Jesus's " it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter heaven" when he took his 4 million dollar lawsuit either.

Which is funny because unlike wealth Jesus didn't really have much to say about the gays. Wonder why wealthy bigots choose the bits they choose to believe in though?

Not so funny but, Rugby Australia has apologised to Israel Folau and paid an undisclosed sum of money, probably less than the $14 million he was looking for though.
As an occaisionally drunk atheist, who has been known to "mis-speak" from time to time, I am appalled!

Greedy f%~ker would be going to hell if it existed. Instead everyone will know he's just a hypocrite.

Whatever about the payment he gets, presumably that's just a contract issue and RA has no choice (although I'd have thought they were 100% sure that they had every right to sack him) but to pay it, but the apology sticks in the craw.

As a believer in liberal democracy rather than totalitarianism I'm glad that he got a payout.
People should be allowed to voice their opinions and still play rugby.
This might encourage employers to keep their noses out of their employees private lives.

b*%&!x. If he was supporting Isis would the Freeze Peach far right be all in support of him? Would they f%~k? He's a disgusting bigot who broke the actual written terms of his lucrative contract to push his bigoted agenda which is unrelated to religious beliefs (not that religious beliefs give you the right to be a bigot and support terrorists and murderers). The reality is that the Freeze Peach warriors have a hypocritical standard for muslims and christians.

He got a few bob to go away, now will he just go away and do us all a favour?
