IRFU finances and estimated provincial split.

Post by MylesNaGapoleen »

Just parking this here.

Collated by @djm_rugbai and pretty accurate when looking at the IRFU financial statement from 2023.

NOTE: THESE ARE ESTIMATES.

edit: renaming thread title to make it clear they are estimates.

yep. a bit of guesswork from the IRFU financial statement from 2023 (which doesn't include details/accounts of the four provinces).

from the guy who collated it:
Following discussions about IRFU provinces' wage bills, here's a summary using reported figures from 2022/23 IRFU Annual Report and a possible split across provinces. Remember that these costs include players, CEOs and coaching teams across test team and provinces.

P&M of €38.7m is from 22/23 Annual Report.
Recharges based on IRFU figure of €16m in 2019/20.
Budget estimates drawn from media articles & commentary in Annual Reports over last 10 years.
Central contract figure is an average. Provinces can top these up.
