Leinster Supporters Club Announcement
The inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Official Leinster Supporters Club will be held on Thursday, 30 August 2007 at Old Belvedere RFC at 8.00 pm, at which it is proposed to formally adopt the club's constitution and to elect its first committee.
We have received a number of comments from members on the draft constitution published on 29 May 2007 and have amended the draft constitution in order to address these comments. Attached is a copy of the revised constitution together with a document summarising the main changes we have made.
If members would like to suggest any further changes to the constitution, they should do so by requesting the consideration of their proposed amendment as a further item to the agenda for the AGM. The cut-off point for requesting changes to the agenda is this Thursday, 23 August 2007. Please contact the Working Group at LeinsterSupportersClub@LeinsterRugby.ie if you wish to request any additions to the agenda.
We are also attaching a copy of the ballot paper for the committee election at the AGM which illustrates how the revised election rules in the constitution will operate in practice.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Leinster Rugby and all of the Leinster fans for their support and encouragement this year and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the AGM on 30 August.
