The Connacht match saw the official opening of the new Supporters' Bar when Keith Gleeson was honoured for reaching his 100th cap for Leinster and the Leinster Supporters Club made a farewell presentation to retiring Leinster legend Denis Hickie with Reggie Corrigan acting as MC for the event.

As you may have seen in last week's match programme, the OLSC has invited supporters of the Leicester Tigers to a Friday night get together with Leinster fans in the Horse Show House in Ballsbridge. The festivities are planned to kick off from 7.30pm. The usual discounts apply on production of your membership card/season ticket. Hopefully we will see some of you there.

I am delighted to announce that at the inaugural annual general meeting (AGM) of the Official Leinster Supporters Club at Old Belvedere Rugby Club last Thursday, 30 August 2007, the club was formally constituted and its constitution was ratified. I am even more pleased to tell you that I now have a committee to work with me to improve your enjoyment of Leinster Rugby this season.
